The Church of the Good Sheperd, Lake Tekapo, NZ

Manja Mexi, I feel sure one day we will meet. I will visit you in Europe or hopefully, you will visit me in NZ. I think you would really love the South Island and the incredible scenery. On your trip down south you must visit the Church of the Good Sheperd on the side of Lake Tekapo. Beastia would appreciate the monument next to the church which celebrates the incredible work of the sheep dogs!

Today’s inspiration comes courtesy of Manja Mexi.

Thank you for contributing to the word bank by leaving the word “visit” in your comment on post #95.

  1. Oh, this is wonderful. 🙂 Thank you so much! I can feel the energy of this place. Life is so good because we never, never know what is coming, everything is possible from now on. 🙂

And just so you know: this post was NOT featured in my reader, I just checked. That’s why I see it only now. Neither was I pinged.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, also for thinking of bestia, even though getting him all the way down there would be a bit of a hassle.

    1. Thanks Mexi. Note to oneself, visit my inspiration people and directly add a link! Maybe it was because I linked it to your overall blog rather than an actual post? because this time you gave me the word rather than me reading your post and gleaning a word. though I am not sure why it wasn’t in your reader?
This wee church has one very simple lovely feature or maybe I should say lack of a feature that I really like. when you enter you see a very simple altar. There is a massive window behind it and the light streaams in. It is perfect for stained glass but they have a plain clear glass window there. This is because the vista of the lake and mountains is so glorious. They say it is god’s beautiful creation and why hide that!
